A Legacy of Faith in Nanakuli
Nānāikapono Church was established in 1930 to bring the light and love of Jesus to the people of Nanakuli. Born out of a vision to serve and uplift the community, NPC has remained faithful to this mission for nearly a century. Generations have walked through its doors, finding not just a place to worship, but a place to belong — an ʻohana rooted in ALOHA.
As the needs of Nanakuli have evolved, so too has NPC’s ministry. From the early days of worship under simple structures to today’s vibrant church family, NPC has responded to the call of God by equipping leaders, restoring families, and creating safe spaces for healing and transformation. Through challenges such as the pandemic, social division, and economic hardship, NPC has remained a spiritual anchor.
Today, under the leadership of Pastor Allen Cardines Jr. and Mama Kahu Mari, NPC serves not only through traditional worship but through community action — food distribution, security outreach, family support, and more. NPC believes in healing hearts to empower lives — all guided by the power of ALOHA and the love of Jesus Christ.
This legacy continues to grow, inspiring generations to serve one another, to believe in miracles, and to become who God has called them to be — for their families, for their communities, and for Hawai‘i.
