Day 11: Planted Securely by God

Romans 11:17-18

17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.

Devotion

You didn't buy your way into the vineyard. The strength belongs to the vine, not the branch. The vine supports and holds the weak branch, rather than the branch clinging to the vine. Let your life be an overflow of gratitude.

Prayer: Jesus, keep me deeply humble today. Forgive me for any judgmental thoughts or spiritual pride. Thank You for grafting a wild shoot like me into Your family and nourishing my soul with Your grace when I deserved nothing. Amen.

The Daily 10-Minute 'Abide in Me' Rhythm

Commit to establishing this strategic baseline rhythm together as a family every day:

Be Still (~2 Min): Take a moment to quiet your thoughts and still your mind. Silence your devices and allow yourself to pause, embracing the awe of God's majesty. It's a chance to breathe, reflect, and connect with Him.

Truth Affirmation (~5 Min): Read the scripture assigned for today. As you reflect on it, gently say aloud: 'Jesus, You are the Vine, and I am a branch. In this moment, I choose to embrace where You have placed me, trusting in Your guidance and care.'

Prayer (~3 Min): Do not burden yourself with a stressful checklist. Instead, take a moment to commit your day to the Holy Spirit. Trust in His gentle guidance; He will lead you in a way that feels reassuring. You're not alone in this journey.5
