Day 24: Claiming His Righteousness as Your Own
Jeremiah 23:6
In his days Judah will be saved
and Israel will live in safety.
This is the name by which he will be called:
The Lord Our Righteous Savior.
Devotion
Don't let your failures drive you away from God; let them push you closer to Him. Through Jesus, you have been given a perfect righteousness that makes you fully accepted by God. Remember that your righteousness is not a performance, but a Person—"Jehovah our Righteousness"—and He is completely unwavering.
Prayer POint
"When my enemy points out my flaws, I point to my Lord, who is my total righteousness."
The Daily 10-Minute 'Abide in Me' Rhythm
Commit to establishing this strategic baseline rhythm together as a family every day:
Be Still (~2 Min): Take a moment to quiet your thoughts and still your mind. Silence your devices and allow yourself to pause, embracing the awe of God's majesty. It's a chance to breathe, reflect, and connect with Him.
Truth Affirmation (~5 Min): Read the scripture assigned for today. As you reflect on it, gently say aloud: 'Jesus, You are the Vine, and I am a branch. In this moment, I choose to embrace where You have placed me, trusting in Your guidance and care.'
Prayer (~3 Min): Do not burden yourself with a stressful checklist. Instead, take a moment to commit your day to the Holy Spirit. Trust in His gentle guidance; He will lead you in a way that feels reassuring. You're not alone in this journey.5
